Each box normally comes with a card detailing the items included with pictures. My box was missing the card this month, so we’re going straight to the items!
Danielle Creations Pink Glitter Compact – Value $13
I was happy to see that this came in very giftable packaging!
It’s super sparkly, but this isn’t the type of glitter that rubs off on your hands – a major win!
And or course, it is a practical compact mirror with two different magnifications:
Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser – FULL SIZE! Value $22
I’m always happy to get anything full-sized from Juice Beauty in a subscription box! This cleaner is a lathering gel, and it did a great job of cleansing my skin without drying it out. (It has a natural scent that I like, but it may not be a hit with everyone.)
Dermstore Lip Quench – FULL SIZE! Value $12
This lip gloss has just a hint of pale pink color, a little shimmer, and some shine, too. (Not enough color to show up swatched, though.)
It also has a fab tropical fruit flavor! It’s a tad on the sticky side, but the formula still works for me.
Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil – 5 ml Value $12.50
You only need a few drops of this oil per application, so this little bottle should actually last you a week or two!
I applied 4 drops to my skin, and I loved how soft and moisturized it made my skin feel. Dermalogica also suggests blending it with your skin moisturizer or applying it with a blender over your makeup for a dewy look. (I am combating oily skin throughout the day, so I didn’t apply this over makeup, but I love it as a first step in my skincare routine.)
Replenix Neckletage – .35 oz Value $15
(Good to know for swaps – has inner foil seal.)
The before and after pictures on this box are pretty impressive:
I found the formula to be rich and moisturizing, but still easy to absorb into the skin. I like that this doesn’t have any added fragrance either – it didn’t irritate my skin at all!
Lash Food Eyelash Enhancer – .05 oz Value $39
This is half the size of the full-size version! (It’s also formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.)
I’ve seen a mix of reviews from this product – 5 stars from people who it worked for, and 1 star from people that didn’t see results. I just started it so I can’t say I see any results yet, but I can report that it didn’t irritate my eyes.
Luzern Laboratories Serum Absolut WE3 – 5 ml Value $23.30
This serum goes on like a gel and absorbs pretty quickly. It’s free of parabens and gluten, and the formula is vegetarian, made with organic ingredients, and cruelty-free. BUT! It kind of smells like a dry-erase marker to me. The scent didn’t fade immediately either, so this is a product I just can’t use!
Nuema neuStyling Smoothing Creme – 1 oz Value $3.60
Fortunately, the scent of this product made up for the serum! This hair creme smells like a lemon cookie – I’m obsessed with it! This line from Neuma is also free of any ingredient you may want to avoid, like parabens, sulfates, phthalates, FD&C Colorant, etc.
And the hair creme itself works really well, too. You can use it both on dry or damp hair, and it didn’t weigh my hair down at all – but did tame frizz!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $140! Amazing! I’m always so impressed with this subscription. They always deliver on quality skincare products, and there’s usually a beauty tool or makeup product in the box to round it out. The Dermalogica and Neuma products were the standouts for me this month, but I really like everything (with the exception of the serum).
