Geek Fuel doesn’t have themes, but you’ll know 2-3 franchises in each month before it ships.
It comes with an information card that details each item in the box.
It comes with a mini mag that has featured stories and a little bit more about the included items. Who is excited for Nintendo Switch?! I’m disappointed I didn’t get a pre-order!
Nuka-World Amusements Shirt – Value $15?
This month’s shirt features Fallout! I’m always more of a fan of the more obscure shirt – so this one is calling out to me.
You’ll even have a little glimpse of a Nuka-Cola cap on the back!
The shirt is also accompanied by an oversized ticket for an instant giveaway! I didn’t win – and I’m not sure what the prize is – but I have loved their fun giveaways.
8-BIT Sword Portable Charger – Value $20-25?
I am LOVING this Zelda power bank!
The first thing to mention is the packaging. I think Geek Fuel has the best and most creative packaging in the business – so it was no surprise that unboxing this power bank was as excited as using it.
It comes with everything you’ll need to power this sucker up. If you’re phone charges via micro-USB then you’re all set with just this cable, while iPhone users will still need to carry their normal charge cable.
Stranger Things Pin – Value $5-10?
They’re now including a limited edition pin, featuring their mascot, in every box. Again, amazing packaging mimicking an old-school action figure!
There were 3 possible pins to get – the pin I got featured Dustin, while there were 500 Demogorgon and only 1 Upside Down Will pin. Not that’s Ultra Rare!
Hero In Training Print – Value $10-15?
The hero in training print features Batman!
This 11×17 print from Juan Muniz is a Geek Fuel exclusive.
It features baby Batman playing with his toy villains – sort of what he’d still do as the caped crusader. There were two versions of this poster. The version I received was the typical version, but there is a limited edition 500-run print of a different blue Batman.
Archibald’s Adventure Steam Game – Value $5
I’ll never shy away from a little side-scrolling action – that being said, this wasn’t my favorite game from Geek Fuel.
Help Archie to overcome all pitfalls of the Dr. Klumpfus mansion in this funny action puzzle game.
Verdict: The shirt, pin, and amazing power bank put this month’s box well over-the-top for me! I’m starting to really like their pins, too – they’re unique and fun – and while I don’t wear the pins, I do attach them to my POP shelves for display! While I’ve never been a big Zelda fan, the word bank is just too cool – and it’s getting me even more excited for the Nintendo Switch – fingers crossed I can get my hands on one!
